Tyler subscribes to online databases from EBSCOhost that are available to Tyler students and staff at school AND at home. This full-text package includes Searchasaurus and Kids Search, Primary Search for magazine articles, as well as encyclopedias.
1. Go to http://search.ebscohost.com
2. Use the UserID and Password for TylerSchool. (This is given to students when working on a research project. If you need this information, call the library.)
Prince William County Public Schools provides to students and staff free access to World Book Online. Go to www.worldbookonline.com and use the login and password for PWCPS.
Also, don’t forget that the PWC Public Library website (http://www.pwcgov.org/library) has links to online sources, such as Grolier Encyclopedia and New Book of Knowledge How to do a Bibliography
When doing research, you must always give credit to (or “cite”) your sources. A list of sources that you used for your research is called a “bibliography.” Here is the correct format for citing your sources:
* Remember to underline titles and pay attention to the
punctuation and capitalization!*
A Book with one Author:
